Gallery of the Soul

This is a collection of some of the photos and videos I take. I hope you enjoy the stories they tell. I want to shout out to the artist who created this incredible gem that graces the header on this page, Image by khaled Aljaber from Pixabay .
This was taken in January of 2021 at the OddFellows Cemetery in Georgetown Texas. The sun is going down behind us so we know it isn't an artifact of the camera due to sun exposure. This is  the older portion of the cemetery with the graves ranging from the late 1800's to very early 1900's. This area also has some very interesting K2 hits. There seems to be a river of energy that extends from about 2 feet off the ground to about 4 feet off the ground and it's in an area that fluctuates from a couple of feet wide to about 8 feet wide. This light anomaly is smack in the middle of that energy flow. It's definitely interesting.

This little one was incredibly polite. The potential for a disaster was great but the humans held their distance and it had a nice dinner and left calmly.

This is, I think, a Whooping Crane! It was very large white bird with a elegant long neck and long skinny legs. It was beautiful and such a treat to see gracefully skimming the surface of the lake.

04/09/2020 Moon in the Morning.
This was taken in early Spring 2019. This is in the older part of Oakwood Cemetery Austin, Texas. This is a marker not too far from some of the graves of the women who were killed by the so called "Servant Girl Annihilator" during his reign of terror of 1884-1885. Interesting bit, these serial murders took place prior to the Jack the Ripper slayings and they were similar some very significant ways.

These were taken at Maxdale Bridge near Killeen Texas on April 19th 2020. This bridge and the cemetery close by are listed in the top ten most haunted places in Texas. The bridge is not for the faint of heart with it almost 70 foot drop to the Lampasas River and it banks. The bridge is unsafe with rotting boards and barely there guard rails. It was built in 1913 and has been closed to vehicles for probably 20 years or more. The area is stunning and there were many people out enjoying its rugged beauty. The stories of hauntings are the standard fare for bridges. Drownings, hangings and the bus load of children going off to it's doom feed the colorful narrative. I have not been able to find proof for any of the stories that feed the reported sightings. There is one very disturbing and sad story of a young woman in 2017 committing suicide in the adjacent cemetery. That is unfortunately true and verifiable. I'm not sure if this area is haunted. The stories are interesting and it certainly does have an ominous vibe even on a gorgeous sunny spring day. Or maybe it was the rotten boards on the bridge that were getting to me. We will go back at some point and do an investigation. I'm just not sure when.

If you look closely in the center photo you will see red and yellow balloons entangled in the steel trusses. When I first saw them I had a strong Hellier moment and wondered if little green men wander the place and peek out at people as they pass. Just a thought.
