Season 1, Episode 1.
Season 1, Episode 1.
I had so much fun choosing the music for this podcast. I feel like Pandora was a warrior. She was a woman exploited by the patriarchy for their own ends and she had to fight to find her own voice. She is vilified for bringing all the bad into the world because of her curiosity in opening the jar or box. Depending on what version of the story you read. I see her more as a light bringer, a trailblazer, an independent soul yearning for knowledge of the unknown. People living in darkness and ignorance aren't always appreciative of those who shift the paradigm by stripping away superstition to reveal a new reality. It's a brave new world my friends. I hope you enjoy Celtyc Dream by Damiano Baldoni. Check out the Free Music Archive for more of his arrangements.
I know I throw the name Pandora around like everyone knows exactly what I'm talking about. But just in case you don't, here is a link to let you know just why she is so important.

This is an old video of the crew from Paranormal State giving very solid explanation of what an EVP is. I found it on YouTube hopefully it's okay to use!
Friends and neighbors, I give you Mr. Loren Coleman. This is a short video from YouTube. I encourage anyone interested in Cryptids and the paranormal to pay attention to this individual. He is a pioneer in the field, literally, and an incredible resource. I may not always agree but I totally respect his view point and experience.
I am horrible with names, but that is no excuse for me butchering a person's name that I should know as well as I know my own!! That's what I get for winging it without a script! How I got Scott Melgram from Dr. Jeff Meldrum I will never know. Mea culpa, Dr. Meldrum, mea culpa.
The Bigfoot Field Research Organization website is the best place I know to find out information about sightings and experiences. And it's the best place to report a sighting. You will be dealing with best, most well informed people in the field.

What can I say, it was the 70's. We were easily impressed. But the story is very real and based on the experiences of a family who lived in Fouke, Arkansas.
Anything by Small Town Monsters is worth viewing. And I'm sure this is not the last time you will be encouraged by me to check out their work.
If you search the Internet for sightings of Bigfoot in Urban areas you get a million hits. I found this blog with several related stories. It's a fascinating possibility and evidently something that many people have experienced. Humans are encroaching on wildlife habitat daily and it's affecting the quality of life for thousands of species used to the big wide open. If it can happen to coyotes, I guess it can happen to Bigfoot.

The study of bio-acoustics is fascinating. Especially in how it relates to the sounds animals make and the affect they have on their environment. Here is a link to an article from Science Daily for an article explaining the bio-acoustics and effects of the Tiger's roar.
